:: COMMERCIAL STRUCTURE
MERCOSUR
ALL offers a complete international logistics service, with origin or destination in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay, operating with goods ranging from food products to hazardous cargo.
With adequate structure to take the goods from the customer’s facilities and transport them safely to the destination chosen, ALL ensures the best multimodal alternative. Counting on logistics bases in the main cities of these countries, ALL offers services such as transportation, storage, distribution and consolidation/splitting of cargo, in addition to Redex in Brazil and the customs area in the Argentine terminals.
That is not all. Check out All’s differentials:
» 160 road railer fleet for international traffic. Road railer is a modern semitrailer which goes through railroads and highways with no need of cargo handling. It is ideal for the transportation of large volume goods, since the road railer has a more volumetric capacity than a trunk.
» Express Train, with defined departure and transit times, offering total reliability and regularity to the operation.
» Own, aggregated and outsourced trucks to meet the customer’s needs.
» Customs advantages: our customers can chose to make customs service in the most appropriate place, in the origin, border or destination.
Therefore, ALL offers an integrated logistics service, which solves all issues of its customers related to foreign trade and reduces their Supply Chain costs.
Some customers:
Acindar, Belgo-Mineira, DOW Química, Gerdau, International Paper, Masisa, Monsanto, Rhodia, Ripasa, Suzano, Unilever, Vega do Sul, among others.
BULKS
With a 16,937 kilometer rail network, with a direct connection to the Ports of Paranaguá, São Francisco do Sul and Rio Grande in Brazil and Rosário and Córdoba in Argentina, ALL ensures more agility in the grain flowing coming from large agricultural regions for exportation.
As a port operator in Paranaguá, ALL delivers the grains into the ships. Therefore, the Company has total control over cargo handling in the port. Thus, the customer has only one interlocutor for the whole logistics operation, which speeds up and easies the process.
Besides, ALL has implemented an intermodal terminal in the city of Maringá (State of Paraná), with a storage capacity of 42 thousand tonnes of grains. In the terminal, the prior classification of the merchandise is carried out. Then, instead of keeping rail cars for each customer, it consolidates the cargo of various companies, optimizing the grain logistics.
In the Port of São Francisco do Sul, ALL, in partnership with other companies, has invested more than US$ 15 million in the logistics structure for the storage and transportation of grains. As a result, the capacity in the port almost doubled, and the benefited one is the customer, who has at his/her disposal one more option for the grain flowing.
To assist Rio Grande do Sul, there is a logistics complex built in Cruz Alta (State of Rio Grande do Sul). Actually, it is the largest terminal within the State and serves as base for the flowing of agricultural commodities up to the port of Rio Grande.
Some customers:
ADM, Anaconda, Bunge, Cargill, Coamo, Coinbra/Dreyfus, Copersucar, Seara and Trevo.

» Urban distribution of beverages in the cities of Florianópolis, Curitiba, Porto Alegre and Londrina. There are more than 10,000 points-of-sale daily served by ALL altogether.
» The supply and management inbound operation of High Maltose storages, with ALL’s units directly connected to the customer’s plants for daily receipt, via EDI, of information about the product tanks. Thus, it is possible to plan the demand and reduce the storage level.
» Transfer of finished products and inputs among the plants, distribution centers and supermarkets located in municipalities all over Brazil.
White Martins
To assist the logistics operations involving industrial gases, ALL created a specific business unit with exclusive equipment for gas transportation, comprising:
» Removal of gas from eight plants of White Martins in the States of Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul and distribution to over 3,000 hospitals and factories, including routes to Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina.
» Use of railroads and highways, optimizing the operation.
» Establishment of units in the central plants, enabling a reduction in the loading and transportation periods.
» Standardization of all vehicles and uniforms with the customer’s logo, ensuring the spread of the brand.
» 24 hours on operational duty.
Ford
ALL carries out an operation called Long Haul, which involves the transfer of parts and components coming from plants located in various cities in the State of São Paulo to the Ford automaker unit in Camaçari, State of Bahia. Due to an average distance of 4.1 thousand kilometers, to be made in round trip, this is considered one of the most complex just in time operations:
» Collection and delivery carried out on a programmed and regulated basis.
» 24 hour a day operation using the hot seat system, in which drivers alternate with each another, that is, the driver is the one who stops, not the truck.
» Vehicles permanently tracked by satellite through the GPS system and 24 hour a day managed by the Highway Control Center (CCR).
Scania
Aiming at operationalizing a Global Sourcing system of component supply in two factories of South America and at implementing a supply system for the production lines of Scania’s plant, in the city of São Bernardo do Campo (State of São Paulo), with components coming from various suppliers, ALL developed a logistics solution which, besides reducing costs, improved the transit period and the service quality.
Scania Milk Run
» Complete management of supply processes for the production lines.
» Collection planning, observing aspects such as volume and the weight of the cargo and the supplier’s location.
» Implementation of an integrated information system between Scania plant and ALL unit, to daily receive the supply needs of each component.
» Investments in truck equipment and curtain side trucks. Uninterrupted track of operations via radiotelephony.
» Management of cost reduction, generating gains to the customer.
Scania Latinet
» Management of the whole transfer process of components between the factories of São Bernardo do Campo (State of São Paulo) and Tucuman (Argentina) through an integrated information system.
» Investments in the vehicle tracking technology to ensure in time assistance and the cargo’s safety in its route.
» Establishment of a unit in São Borja (State of Rio Grande do Sul), next to Mercovias, to reduce the period of customs clearance.
» Establishment of ALL’s units next to the customer’s structure.
SLC Alimentos
To assist SLC Alimentos, Brazil’s third largest white rice trader, ALL developed a project comprising the transfer of products from three plants in the State of Rio Grande do Sul (São Borja, Alegrete and Camaquã) to the distribution in points-of-sale in the States of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais.
» SLC production transported by railroad up to the metropolitan region of São Paulo.
» The product goes to ALL’s own distribution center, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo.
» ALL is in charge of inventory management.
» Distribution to points-of-sale made with own, aggregated and outsourced trucks.
» This operation enables 1,200 deliveries/month, handling 60 thousand tonnes of products.
Sadia Project
To make possible railroad transfer and handling of frozen products targeted at export through the Port of Paranaguá with more competitive costs, ALL developed a multimodal logistics operation project for Sadia.
» Handling in the origin with the best utilization of space and, as a consequence, more volume.
» Adaptation of rail cars for the transportation of containers with frozen cargo.
» Leasing and installation of generators to keep the product frozen in the rail cars.
» Highway connection with own, aggregated and outsourced trucks, according to the need.
VCP
ALL developed a project with Votorantim Celulose e Papel (VCP) to supply the Factory of Jacareí with wood extracted in Guaíba, State of Rio Grande do Sul. The operation, which involved investments in the amount of R$ 1 million, consists in the multimodal transportation of eucalyptus timber, with 6 meter average length. ALL manages all the logistics flow of the operation and is responsible for the collection of wood in the forest of Gauíba, railroad transfer and highway delivery in the factory of Jacareí.
To facilitate timber transportation and in order to make it in the longitudinal direction, which ensures safety to the cargo, ALL adapted metallic stakes in 120 platform-rail cars, increasing the weight capacity to 42 tonnes of useful cargo.
The project consists in the handling of 120,000 tonnes of raw wood/year, which represents an average of 10 rail cars per day. This wood will be used by VCP for the production of pulp and paper targeted at the domestic and foreign markets. It is a non-stop, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week operation.
Camargo Corrêa
Camargo Corrêa Cimentos is one of the largest Brazilian cement producers. It is responsible for 8.5% of the Portland cement market and for 75% of the White Cement market. Moreover, Camargo Côrrea is the manufacturer of the Cauê brand. For a company with such production volume, ALL developed the following projects and solutions:
» Monthly railroad transportation of 30 thousand tonnes of bagged cement (90% of the total production) from the factory in Apiaí, State of São Paulo, to the terminals located in the States of Santa Catarina, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul.
» Logistics Operator of the largest Distribution Center of the company in southern Brazil, located in Ponta Grossa, State of Paraná, where it makes rail car unloading operations, inventory management and dispatch.
» Logistics Operator of the Factory in Apiaí - input inbound, highway and railroad dispatch of finished products and billing.
CSN
ALL developed for Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN) a new logistics option for the supply of the Rio Grande do Sul market with steel products from the Volta Redonda plant (State of Rio de Janeiro).
With the new solution, transportation up to Rio Grande do Sul began to be carried out by train. The packed, palletized or loose steel products go to a distribution center in Porto Alegre (State of Rio Grande do Sul), made available by ALL. This way, when a customer places an order, the merchandise is already in Rio Grande do Sul and he/she may receive it in 24 hours.
» This system enables an operating volume of 120 thousand tonnes/year.
» Better planning and assistance in the peaks at the end of the month, due to the concentration of dispatches and limitation of funds.
» Reduction of the time of delivery to the final customer from 72 hours to 24 hours.
» Reduction in the inventory of CSN’s final customers.
» Centralization and reduction of transportation service providers, enabling more control with less effort.
» Reduction in logistics costs and protection against highway fee (toll) increase.
To increase the competitiveness of Cisa, a company of the CSN Group which makes steel coil lamination and covering, ALL implemented a railroad terminal inside the plant, in Araucária, State of Paraná.
Thus, ALL is responsible for the whole inbound operation (receipt of steel coils) of the company. The steel coils which arrive in the terminal go straight to the production line, in a just in time operation, where they are laminated, galvanized and covered.
