:: PHYSICAL STRUCTURE
ALL has one of the largest logistic support structures in the Latin America. There are more than 70 units distributed in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay, located in loading and unloading strategic spots, offering a higher coverage, agility and assurance to logistic operations.
|
FLEET
Trucks
With 2 thousand vehicles amongst owned and aggregated ones, ALL is present in practically the entire country. The maintenance of its fleet is one of the company’s priorities, which values the safety of its employees. The fleet is divided into bi-train, tank, silo, trunk, sider, heavy vehicles.
Road Railers
The road railers – bimodal carts – can be used in highways and railways. As cargo is not handled, these are very used in higher added-value goods, the handling of which may damage the cargo, such as hygiene and cleaning products, food, beverage, packages and paper. Currently, we have 160 carts.
Locomotives
In 1997, when the company assumed the southern railway system in the country, there were only 234 locomotives operating. Currently, there are 1000 locomotives running on ALL’s trails.

:: TERMINALS, WAREHOUSES AND DISTRIBUTION CENTERS
Terminals with logistic structure for cargo movement, operating not only as a warehouse center but also as goods transfer site less than 24 hours. This includes all multimodal transport services.
ALL also offers the structure of Logistic Hubs, i.e., units serving as collection basis and delivery of carts circulating in fixed corridors, which increases equipment productivity and improves service to customers. The process operates as follows: when the stocked-up truck leaves a customer, it goes to one of the Logistic Hubs, where the cart loaded will be dropped off, and again engaged into another horsepower, and then directed to the destination hub to carry out same process. The cart is disengaged in the destination hub and then is sent to the customer in smaller trucks, which are responsible only for distribution.
